Are you one of the 112 people who said yes in our poll on www.walkernhistorysociety.co.uk, excited at the prospect of Walkern twinning with Lanvallay? Come along to the Sports and Community Centre on Monday 18th February at 8.00pm to help form a twinning association. The Association will brainstorm and organise fundraisers to help pay for Walkern groups to visit the Breton village, and help fund events in Walkern when Lanvallay visit us.

On the 8th August Peter Sinclair of the Walkern History Society presented the Mayor of Lanvallay (in Brittany) with a letter from Walkern Parish Council in support of the cultural twinning of the two villages, who share an historical link.
