Walkern May Queen Nomination

Welcome to the Walkern May Queen nomination site – this is your chance to give recognition to someone special in the village. The Walkern May Queen will be crowned at 2.00 p.m. on 1st May and will open the Fair, lead the parade around the stalls, award prizes and draw the raffle at 4.30 p.m.

Using the comments section at the bottom of the page, you are asked to nominate a suitable candidate for the position and to briefly give your reasons for nominating the individual concerned. Nominations will close on Sunday 17th April.

The Fair Committee will convene a selection panel on 19th April and notify the successful candidate prior to the Fair.

Note : Personal details requested will enable the organisers to communicate with you and the successful candidate before the day of the Fair to confirm availability and will be used under conditions of strictest confidentiality only for the purposes of arranging the May Queen election, All data will be deleted immediately after the Fair. Sending in a nomination signifies your acceptance of these conditions.
